my favorite Whitney Houston song was the only real HOUSE song from her early career but I suspected it never got a video budget or radio promotion budget because HOUSE music was considered “too black” and “too gay”. Atleast that’s what my label told me about why they wouldn’t support HOUSE music. So sorry you had to leave us so young. and we thought 48 was old!( which comedian used to say that ? ) I was waiting for the ultimate blues record from her but she left enough of a legacy.
